A quick and flavorful spicy ramen noodle soup recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 package instant ramen noodles
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce (or more, to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 hard-boiled egg, halved (optional)
- Cooked chicken or tofu (optional)
Instructions
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Bring the broth mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour the hot broth over the cooked noodles in a serving bowl.
- Top with sliced green onions, halved hard-boiled egg, and cooked chicken or tofu if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sriracha for your preferred spice level.
- Add other vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
