Description

A quick and flavorful spicy ramen noodle soup recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 package instant ramen noodles
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce (or more, to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, halved (optional)
  • Cooked chicken or tofu (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Bring the broth mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour the hot broth over the cooked noodles in a serving bowl.
  5. Top with sliced green onions, halved hard-boiled egg, and cooked chicken or tofu if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sriracha for your preferred spice level.
