Description

A quick and easy salad featuring tuna and white beans, perfect for a light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 (15-ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (5-ounce) can tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the rinsed cannellini beans, drained tuna, chopped red onion, chopped celery, and chopped parsley.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil and lemon juice.
  3. Pour the dressing over the bean and tuna mixture.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Toss gently to combine.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for later.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, try adding a pinch of dried oregano or a dash of Dijon mustard to the dressing.
