Description
A fun and delicious breakfast featuring mini pancakes filled with Nutella, served in a bowl.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Nutella, plus more for filling
- Vegetable oil, for cooking
- Optional toppings: fresh berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat.
- For each mini pancake, pour about 1 tablespoon of batter onto the griddle.
- Immediately spoon a small amount of Nutella into the center of each pancake.
- Carefully spoon another tablespoon of batter over the Nutella to cover it.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
- Arrange the Nutella-stuffed mini pancakes in a bowl.
- Add your favorite toppings.
Notes
- You can make the pancake batter ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Adjust the amount of Nutella filling to your preference.
- Ensure the griddle is not too hot to prevent burning the pancakes before the inside is cooked.
