Nutella-Stuffed Pancake Cereal Bowl

Description

A fun and delicious breakfast featuring mini pancakes filled with Nutella, served in a bowl.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Nutella, plus more for filling
  • Vegetable oil, for cooking
  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. For each mini pancake, pour about 1 tablespoon of batter onto the griddle.
  6. Immediately spoon a small amount of Nutella into the center of each pancake.
  7. Carefully spoon another tablespoon of batter over the Nutella to cover it.
  8. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
  10. Arrange the Nutella-stuffed mini pancakes in a bowl.
  11. Add your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • You can make the pancake batter ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Adjust the amount of Nutella filling to your preference.
  • Ensure the griddle is not too hot to prevent burning the pancakes before the inside is cooked.
