Description

Roasted Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Scatter the chopped bacon over the Brussels sprouts.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly caramelized, and the bacon is crisp.
  6. Stir halfway through the roasting time for even cooking.
  7. Serve hot.
